Valecia Harris, MBA
Founding Partner
-
Valecia is a seasoned executive and trusted advisor to legacy families, mission-driven founders, and capital allocators. As Founder and CEO of Black Book Agency Group, she leads with a clear vision: to protect and extend generational wealth through values-aligned strategy, discreet execution, and institutional-grade stewardship.
Her career spans over a decade in finance and regulatory leadership, including service at a global captive lending company, where she oversaw North American compliance operations, led state and federal audits, and managed regulatory governance frameworks supporting billions of dollars in consumer lending. While earning her MBA from SMU’s Cox School of Business, Valecia expanded her advisory focus to include high-growth ventures and enterprise firms exceeding $20 million in EBITDA. She has guided leadership teams through complex funding rounds, strategic exits, and investor relations—delivering clarity, continuity, and measurable outcomes.
In addition to her advisory work, Valecia serves in an executive capacity within an institutional capital environment, where she leads compliance and due diligence efforts to strengthen operational integrity, investment readiness, and investor confidence.
Valecia founded Black Book to fill a critical market gap: the need for a trusted, discreet advisory partner at the intersection of legacy, capital, and purpose. Under her leadership, Black Book serves as a high-touch, values-driven platform for those navigating the largest intergenerational wealth transfer in history.
Her approach is strategic, measured, and purpose-driven, ensuring that every client moves forward with confidence, integrity, and a team dedicated to generational success.
